Publisher's presentation : A small town in the south, its subdivisions, its dull daily life and its endless summer days. Jo and Céline, two sisters aged fifteen and sixteen, wander between fairs, shopping centers and nighttime swimming in the luxurious villa's pools of the region. Too young yet to give up on their dreams and follow in the footsteps of their parents who work hard to pay off the mortgage on their house. But when Céline becomes pregnant, it's a catastrophe. As she refuses to reveal the name of her lover, the father's rage is unleashed, silent and violent, while the younger sister tries to break free from the family mold and the mother watches helplessly as her family falls apart. Until it becomes irreversible.
