Book clubs
Clubs without extravagance, but with a dose of emotion to read and share.
Goals
These intra- or inter-organizational clubs have three main aims: to create links, to remove taboos or tackle complex subjects through fiction, and to have a good time. |
Functioning
Inspired by the reading circles fashionable in Anglo-Saxon countries, the 1h to 1h30 reading clubs work simply: beginner or experienced readers get together in a session led by Love for Livres. One or more texts, carefully chosen according to a given purpose or theme, are read. Conversation ensues. Who knows where it will lead? |
Impact
These book clubs serve an HR strategy on three levels: they stimulate team well-being. They create connections between diverse people. And last but not least, they enable us to tackle professional issues in a different way. |
